RAYON FABRIC
Rayon is a fabric made from purified cellulose fibers, which are typically created from wood pulp. Though rayon is derived from natural materials, it requires certain chemicals, so it’s considered to be a semi-synthetic fabric. It’s breathable, moisture-absorbent, and a popular choice for casual and athletic wear. It also shows up in dresses, blouses, and outerwear. Secondary types of rayon include modal rayon (typically made from beech trees) and lyocell (seen in everything from denim to dress shirts).
Rayon is one of the most versatile fabrics around, yet it remains somewhat of a mystery. That’s partly because of its remarkable ability to shape-shift—not just literally, but also in terms of imitating other fabrics.
COTTON FABRIC
Cotton is a material made from cotton fiber. Cotton fabrics are derived from natural fibers, do not contain chemicals that have Hypoallergenic. Being a natural fiber, cotton is a renewable resource and is biodegradable. Natural fibers, as opposed to synthetic like polyester. Cotton Fabric has hollow texture and it is breathable fabric, which means that it can cool to wear in hot conditions, has a smooth and soft texture, comfortable to wear, strong and durable.
LINEN FABRIC
Linen cloth is one type of fabric made from natural fibers of the Hemp plant (Boehmeria Nivea). This is a type of cotton fabric that has the characteristics of large fiber yarns and is clearly visible. Linen fiber is also believed to have better endurance than other types of cotton fabrics. Linen is very strong and absorbent, and dries faster. Because of these characteristics, linen is comfortable to wear in hot weather and is valued for use in garments. Linen is one type of high-quality fabric, this fabric has a smooth, neat surface and it is a breathable fabric, so it can make air circulation more smoothly.
CHIFFON
Chiffon fabric is a fabric made of silk, cotton, nylon, polyester, or rayon. This chiffon fabric tends to be thin with a faint sparkle and simple weaving. The word ‘chiffon’ is actually a word to describe the method or method used to make this type of fabric. chiffon is a thin, transparent and lightweight fabric, woven in a uniform pattern. When viewed with a magnifying glass, chiffon fabric looks like a net or a fine net that makes it transparent. Chiffon is a thin fabric but it can also have a rough texture. Because of the thinness of chiffon fabric feels cold when used because this type of fabric is less able to withstand heat around the body.
SILK
Silk fabric is a natural protein fiber that can be woven into textiles. The most common type of silk is silk from cocoons produced by larvae of mulberry silkworm (Bombyx mori) which are bred (caterpillar farming is called sericulture). Silk has a smooth, soft, but not slippery texture. Silk are good quality fabric with a smooth and sparkling surface, elastic and fold resistant, one of the strongest natural fibers, durable and lightweight, absorbs moisture well.
SATIN FABRIC
Satin is a type of soft silk satin fabric that is woven using the filament fiber technique so that it has the characteristics of a shiny surface. The surface texture of this satin fabric is very smooth, soft and looks glossy. satin is the choice or solution to get a look that looks luxurious and elegant, but coupled with a more affordable price. In addition, satin fabric is softer and smoother on the skin. This satin also has an average quality that is quite good and durable for long-term use, easy to clean and shape.
CREPE FABRIC
This fabric has a unique texture, a textured surface appearance that looks rough, sandy and wrinkled. crepe fabric is made with a fairly complicated woven process. Crepe fabric is supple, soft and elastic, not stiff, comfortable to wear and not hot. This material is also thick so when used it is not transparent.
MICROFIBER FABRIC
Microfiber fabric is made of synthetic fabric made from 80 percent polyester and 20 percent polyamide. This type of fabric has very fine fibers and has a diameter of around 0,0006 mm. This fabric has a very soft texture, even 10 times softer than silk. 30 times finer than cotton, 40 times finer than wool, 100 times finer than human hair. The finer the fiber, the more effectively it is used as a base for fabric.
FUJIETTE FABRIC
Fujiette fabric is unique in its uneven texture and wrinkles resembling orange peels. Nevertheless, the texture is still smooth, soft, and not too thick. Dress made from rayon crinkle will still feel comfortable when used during hot weather.
COLDURAY FABRIC
Coldoray fabric is made from various types of cotton fibers, rayon, polyester, and a combination of several types of fibers. the fibers in the fabric are twisted beforehand and then woven into a cloth. the final result of weaving the fibers will produce a pattern of parallel lines on the fabric surface. typical of this fabric is that it has a texture that is not rough, soft and durable. clothes from this material are very comfortable to wear and not too hot.
VISCOSE FABRIC
Viscose is a type of rayon. One of the advantages of this viscose is that the fabric is shiny like silk while ordinary rayon is not shiny, because of these advantages many call this viscose artificial silk fabric (synthetic silk). Viscose is produced from plant fibers from cellulose regeneration. In the manufacturing process, cellulose material is dissolved in a chemical solution (N-Methlymorpholine N-oxide) to produce a thick substance, which then becomes a fiber which can then be made into yarn. Although it does not include pure natural fibers, viscose has good fiber power like cotton. Good color absorption ability, soft and comfortable fiber texture, does not cause heat, is relatively light, strong and sturdy.
SPANDEX FABRIC
Spandex material is a type of artificial fibers that have elastic or stretchable material characteristics. The ability of spandex material to be stretchable to reach 5 times its original size. This spandex material is one of the 100% synthetic materials that are deliberately designed to replace the role of rubber. Spandex is one type of cotton made from a mixture of polyurethane and cotton. Although the material is thin, but this fabric is stronger and more durable when compared to the usual types of cotton. Spandex tends to be tighter and the fabric is rather hot if the percentage of polyurethane is high, comfortable when used, has high elastic properties, does not limit the space for those who wear it.
NYLON FABRIC
Nylon is a synthetic fabric made from petroleum products. If wool, linen, cotton and silk all come from animals or plants, nylon is a synthetic fabric that has advantages. Nylon is the second most widely used fiber in the United States because it is very flexible and relatively easy to make – even though it is based on synthetic plastics. Nylon is a lightweight and strong material, elastic in nature, not easy to change shape.
LACE
Lace is a filigree fabric made from knitted yarns that are usually installed at the edges of clothes, fabrics, etc. There are several types of lace, namely lace needles, which are made using thread and needles. Then there’s Cutwork, lace made with bobbins or bobbin threads. Lace material is like a net and elastic then when in use can give a sexy and beautiful body silhouette. Nowadays lace has become very popular and has become one of the favorite materials in the world fashion, lace is not only applied for making clothes, but also for furniture, decorative objects, jewelry and accessories that give the impression of luxury and elegance. Lace is one of the favorite materials for designers to design wedding dresses, because designers can create beautiful, elegant, classy and romantic dresses from lace.
