Tech Pack

A Tech Pack (Technical Package) is the complete blueprint of your garment—containing every detail your manufacturer needs to bring your design to life with accuracy. It includes measurements, materials, construction methods, colorways, artwork placements, and more. While Megaya Bali does not provide Tech Pack creation, we expertly follow the Tech Pack you supply to ensure your order is produced with precision and aligned with your brand standards.

Key Terms in a Tech Pack
Learn the essentials that help your production run seamlessly.

1. Technical Sketch / Flat Sketch
Clean, simplified front–and–back drawings showing the garment’s shape, structure, and design details.

2. Measurement Specs (Spec Sheet)
A clear size chart listing all measurements for each size to maintain consistent fit.

3. Construction Details
Instructions explaining how the garment should be assembled—seams, stitches, finishing, and structural techniques.

4. Materials & Trims
A complete list of fabrics, zippers, buttons, elastics, threads, labels, and all components used in the garment.

5. Colorway
Approved color options with codes (often Pantone) to maintain consistency across batches.

6. Artwork & Placement
Graphics, print, or embroidery details with precise placement and sizing instructions.

7. Grading Rules
Guidelines for scaling measurements from size to size while maintaining proportion.

8. Bill of Materials (BOM)
A detailed breakdown of all materials used, crucial for accurate costing and production planning.

9. Stitching Details
Specific requirements for overlock, topstitch, coverstitch, bartack, and SPI (stitches per inch).

10. Tolerance
The allowable measurement variation to keep quality consistent.

11. Labeling & Packaging
Instructions for size labels, care labels, hangtags, folding methods, and packaging standards.

12. Sample Requirements
Sample expectations before production begins. Megaya Bali requires 2 samples per design—one for the client and one for our internal production reference.

13. Production Notes
Any extra instructions or special considerations the production team should follow.
