New Line from Megaya Bali Garment and Clothing Manufacturer

For years, Megaya Bali has helped fashion designers and boutique owners build their clothing brands. From flowing resort dresses to everyday wear, we have loved bringing creative ideas to life right here in Bali.
Over time, more and more of our clients asked us for one specific thing: high-quality, custom swimwear and activewear.
Making bikinis and swimsuits is very different from making standard clothes. It needs special stretchy fabrics, unique sewing machines, and precise fitting so the garments look great, feel comfortable, and last a long time.
To give swimwear brands the dedicated focus and expertise they deserve, we are proud to introduce our new specialized website and division: www.balibikinimanufacturer.com.
Why Swimwear Needs a Dedicated Focus
Creating swimwear and activewear is a unique craft. Standard clothing uses woven fabrics like cotton or linen that hold their shape. Swimwear, on the other hand, uses high-stretch materials like spandex, elastane, and recycled nylon. These fabrics behave completely differently on the cutting table and under a sewing machine needle.
Think about what a bikini goes through:
- It gets stretched repeatedly across different body shapes.
- It gets soaked in salty ocean water and chlorinated pool water.
- It sits in hot sunshine and absorbs sunscreen and body oils.
- It gets tugged, washed, and dried over and over again.
If a factory uses the wrong sewing technique or standard thread, the seams will snap the moment someone puts the swimsuit on. If the fabric isn’t cut correctly, the suit will sag, pull, or feel loose in all the wrong places.
By launching Bali Bikini Manufacturer, we built a specialized workspace dedicated entirely to stretch clothing. We invested in specialized tools, trained our tailors in advanced stretch sewing techniques, and created an easy process so you can build your swim brand with complete confidence.
What Makes Swimwear Manufacturing Different?
To give you a better idea of how we make your swimsuits, let’s look at the special steps required to produce high-quality swimwear:
1. Letting the Fabric Rest Before Cutting
Stretchy fabrics are wound tightly onto rolls at the mill. If you unroll the fabric and cut it immediately, the material will shrink back to its natural size while you are cutting it. This causes your finished pieces to come out the wrong size.
At our workshop, we unroll stretch fabrics and let them “rest” flat on large tables for hours before cutting. This lets the fabric relax so every piece we cut matches your exact size chart.
2. Using the Right Machines and Threads
Standard sewing machines pull fabric through with teeth that can stretch and damage delicate synthetic knits. We use specialized stretch machines:
- Differential Feed Machines: These machines move the fabric smoothly without stretching or pucker marks.
- 4-Needle Flatlock Machines: These create super-flat, smooth seams that lie flat against the skin so they don’t rub or irritate when swimming or working out.
- Elastic Attachment Guides: We use machine attachments that feed high-grade rubber elastic into leg openings and necklines with exact tension. This keeps the suit snug on the body without pinching the skin.
3. Calculating the Stretch Percentage
Not all stretch fabrics are the same. A shiny, thin spandex fabric stretches differently than a thick, textured ribbed fabric.
Our pattern makers test every single roll of fabric to calculate its exact “stretch and recovery” percentage before creating your paper patterns. This ensures that a Size Medium made from smooth nylon fits exactly the same as a Size Medium made from textured fabric.

Sustainable and Ethical Manufacturing in Bali
Modern shoppers care deeply about where their clothes come from. They want to know that their swimwear was made fairly without hurting people or the planet.
At Megaya Bali and Bali Bikini Manufacturer, ethical production is at the heart of everything we do.

Safe Workplaces and Fair Pay
Bali is famous for its incredible artistic talent and warm culture. We make sure our workshop reflects these values:
- Fair Wages: All our tailors, pattern makers, and cutters receive above-average wages, health benefits, and holiday pay.
- Comfortable Work Environment: Our workshop is clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated so our team can craft your garments in comfort.
- Respect for Local Culture: We respect Balinese religious holidays and family traditions, keeping our team happy and motivated to do their best work.
Ocean-Friendly Fabrics
The ocean is a swimwear brand’s best friend, so protecting it is important. We offer a wide range of eco-friendly, recycled fabrics:
- ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon: Made from ocean waste like old fishing nets and fabric scraps. It is super soft, durable, and offers UV protection.
- REPREVE® Recycled Polyester: Made from recycled plastic water bottles. It holds vibrant colors and prints beautifully without fading.
- Safe Dyes: We use OEKO-TEX® certified materials, meaning no harsh chemicals touch your customer’s skin or run into the water.
How Working with Us Works (5 Simple Steps)
Starting a clothing line can feel overwhelming if you haven’t done it before. We made our production process simple, clear, and easy to follow:

Tell Us Your Idea
Reach out through www.balibikinimanufacturer.com and show us what you want to create. You can send us simple sketches, photo ideas, or complete design sheets. We will talk about your target audience, fabric choices, colors, and budget.
Make Your Samples
Before we make a full batch of swimsuits, we build your sample prototypes:
- We create digital size patterns based on your measurement choices.
- We source your preferred fabric and hardware (like gold rings, sliders, or clips).
- Our master tailors sew your initial sample pieces.
Test and Approve
We send your finished sample pieces straight to your door. Put them on fit models, wear them in the pool, and see how they feel. If you want to change a strap length or adjust a leg cut, just let us know. We refine the patterns until you are 100% happy with how they fit.
Bulk Sewing and Quality Checking
Once you approve your samples, we begin main production. Every single suit passes through our multi-step Quality Check before packing:
- Measurement Check: Making sure every piece matches your size chart.
- Seam Testing: Pulling and stretching seams to make sure stitches won’t pop.
- Hardware Inspection: Checking that all clasps, rings, and straps are strong and secure.
- Clean Finish Check: Trimming loose threads and making sure fabrics are spotless.
Doorstep Delivery
We sew in your custom brand labels, attach your hangtags, and place each swimsuit in custom eco-friendly packaging. Then, we ship your entire order directly to your store, home, or fulfillment warehouse anywhere in the world using trusted fast couriers.
Why Choose Bali Bikini Manufacturer?
Bali is no longer just a tropical vacation destination—it is now a world-renowned hub for boutique fashion, resortwear, and beach fashion.
1. We Live the Swimwear Lifestyle
Our team lives on an island surrounded by ocean and sunshine every day. We understand how bikinis and swim trunks need to perform in real life because swimwear is part of our everyday culture. This practical experience helps us give you better advice on fabric weight, elastic strength, and strap placement.
2. Lower Financial Risk for Your Brand
Many large factories in other countries require minimum orders of 500 or 1,000 pieces per style. For a new brand, this costs a lot of money and leaves you with unsold stock if a color doesn’t sell well.
We offer low minimum order quantities so you can test small runs, see what your customers love, and order more as your sales grow.
3. All-in-One Service Under One Roof
Instead of paying one person to draw your patterns, another store to buy your fabric, a separate printer for your patterns, and a factory to sew them, we do everything in one place:
Design Support → Fabric Sourcing → Printing → Sample Making → Bulk Sewing → Branding →Global Shipping
