Fit

Fit (Loose, Regular, Oversized)

Fit refers to how a garment is designed to sit on the body, affecting comfort, silhouette, and overall style. Different fits—Loose, Regular, and Oversized—determine the intended ease and movement allowance. The purpose is to clearly communicate the intended silhouette so the production team can follow the correct proportions, ease allowance, and shaping during pattern-making and sampling. Ensures consistency across all sizes and styles.

What’s Included:
– Fit category: Loose Fit / Regular Fit / Oversized Fit

Why It Matters:
Correct fit ensures the garment aligns with brand identity, wearer comfort, and market expectations. A clear fit guideline avoids misinterpretation during pattern making, sampling, and bulk production.

Examples:
Loose Fit: Extra ease for a relaxed, breathable silhouette. Common for resort wear, lounge sets, and oversized tees.

Regular Fit: Balanced ease that follows body shape without being tight. Most used for uniforms, basics, and everyday wear.

Oversized Fit: Significant added volume for a bold silhouette. Popular for streetwear, jackets, and statement pieces.
