Jeans is a type of pants or trousers, usually made of denim or dungaree fabric. The word “Jean” has been around since the 1800 referring to the cotton twill fabric worn for trousers and that’s when it started to catch the attention of designers. The development of jeans in the 90s increased so that it became the most sought after clothing because jeans began to be patterned into pants, jackets, bags, and so on. In the 20th century, the word “Jean” became a term for a variety of informal cotton or denim pants (blue jeans).
